I never got into this series because of the frequent vulgarities and sexual references. Of the six episodes I watched, I only found one interesting (the one about parents). The show apparently wanted to deal with the modern problems of an Asian American small-time actor and his life. However, for me the characters and dialog seemed shallow. The main character is played by Aziz Ansari from Parks and Recreation (another show I never got into) and seemed mainly interested in projecting himself as sophisticated and "hip" when he is not.
